Modern devices and gadgets including spectrum analyzers, DSOs, PLCs, Analytical Instruments, Biomedical Instruments etc PLUS separate computer centre and simulation lab equipped with computers having latest configurations. Software tools help us in offering the best of teaching methodologies to our students.
The department has its innovations and quality procedures such as
- Periodic updation of lab experiments
- Improvement in teaching methodology using various A/V aids including LCD Multimedia display, OHP etc.
- learning material development including lab manuals and lecture notes

This department is blessed with a cohesive and congenial working environment that promotes healthy interaction among students, faculty and supporting staff. Another noted factor is periodic educational visits as well as interaction of the department with local industries in order to remain conversant with practical knowledge and technical inputs.
The Department of EIE had extension lecture on Lab view Software by Mr. Khaja Rahmatulla from DRDO. The response was high from the students. The students were also given tips related to relate to placements by these expert lectures.
