Royal Institute of Technology & Science (RITS) was established in the year 2002 with an aim of imparting quality education. RITS as of now has made a rich history of its Alumni. They are spread the world over, making their presence felt globally and have consequently made their Alma Mater proud of their achievements. They have proven their excellence as academicians, administrators, scientists, scholars, entrepreneurs and technocrats. Not only this, most of them, having acquired a ruling cadre excellence in their respective fields, are actively involved in efficiently contributing to the socio-economic development of the nation and the world at large.

With an aim of creating a link between the glorious past and the ample present, and furthering its connectivity with the bright dreams of golden future, RITS has established its Alumni Association. The very mention of term alumni brings before us the picture of the glorious past, rooted in the clear distinctiveness of our college from any other such institution. It reminds us of our well established status as a full grown, renowned and prestigious institution in the field of education. It conjures up vivid memories of the glorious yester years, reflective of a rich heritage and solid tradition which has shaped our institution so well. Over the years, we have crossed several milestones of success, have made significant contribution to the advancement of the knowledge, and have kept pace with the changing times of the new generations. We have transitioned from a traditional college, and are now surging ahead, aiming at becoming a pace setter in the field of higher education and technology, with an international outlook and global reach.

Alumni of any organization, as such, are part of these processes of continuity and change, and tradition and modernity, associated with growth and working of that institution. Strongly holding onto this fact, RITS seek to institutionalize these bonds between the alumni and the alma mater, by means of alumni association, into a long lasting relationship, that strengthens and nurtures both the ends simultaneously and fruitfully. RITS has always considered its alumni as a source of incessant strength and sustenance in its scholastic, innovating and institution building endeavors. A committee has been constituted to provide vision and guidance for, and to coordinate the all-round activities of the alumni association.

We envisage the alumni association at RITS as a partner in the long journey of progress and the incessant development of the institution. We hope that this association would unfold before us a series of opportunities to serve this institution better and lend our cooperation in its full measure for the success and sustenance of RITS.

Objectives

The main objectives of the association are:

  1. To promote progressive interaction amongst the Alumni members, and between the Alumni and RITS.
  2. To encourage, promote and facilitate education and research and other scholastic activities at the College.
  3. To provide opportunities for the development of the Alumni.
  4. To facilitate and encourage exchange of information between alma mater and Alumni.
  5. To get engaged in such Academic and Social activities that shall contribute towards promoting cooperation between the Alumni and the Institution.
  6. To provide guidance on the prospects of various career options open to the students in the present day world.
  7. To facilitate, provide and enhance on-campus recruitment to the students of RITS.
  8. To further the cause of Science and Technology.
  9. To serve the society, with progressive results.
  10. To keep up the spirit of love, affection and gratitude among the alumni for Alma mater.

Benefits

The Association aims at offering several benefits to its Alumni, some of them are:

  1. Inviting the members to Campus events like -the Convocation, Foundation day etc.
  2. It serves as a conduit to participate in Research Programmes.
  3. A chance to participate in Seminars, Workshops, and Technical events and showcase one’s skills and/or accomplishments & meet eminent specialists in the field of science & Technology.
  4. Access to the association’s database.
  5. Newsletter – reading and contributing.
